Terms & Conditions

Last updated August 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of Heywood Academies Practice Problems ("the Service"), a subscription service operated by Heywood Academies ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

The Service gives subscribers access to a bank of solved STEM practice problems — organized by course and topic, each with a full worked solution — along with tools to browse, filter, and track your progress through them.

Your account

Free trial & billing

New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then from your account's billing settings at no cost. After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Discount codes, where offered, extend the length of the free trial.

Acceptable use

To keep the problem bank available and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

Intellectual property

All problems, solutions, and other course content in the Service belong to Heywood Academies or its licensors. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable right to view that content for your own studying — it doesn't transfer ownership or grant any right to redistribute it.

Cancellation & termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time; you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is", as a study aid. While we do our best to keep problems and solutions accurate, we don't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, and it isn't a substitute for your course's official instruction or materials.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Heywood Academies isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any impact on your academic performance.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
